Vista Rooms secures Rs.10 Cr funding to revolutionize travel & hospitality in India

Times are tough but we are tougher, is the only thought that has got our team through 2020, and we are grateful to be entering 2021 not only alive, but thriving. We are thrilled to announce that Vista Rooms has raised a whopping Rs.10 Cr funding, led by the incredible support of DSG Consumer Partners along with participation from CA Holdings.

The current shift in traveller trends – more conscious travellers seeking meaningful experiences in (updated) hygienic, private spaces – has given rise to a new wave of spending time with loved ones. 

Homestays have become the vacation of choice, encouraged by WFH and online schooling. As people become comfortable with the concept of staycations, we have seen our guests return for more bookings in new locations and homes. This sudden but lasting lifestyle change is an opportunity for Vista that is already leading to exponential growth.

Here’s why we’re excited about the fundraising –

  • We have a market in front of us that is ready to be regenerated. There is an evident need for safe, secure and private accommodations that allow travellers to holiday in peace without missing out on the little adventures of life. 
  • There is a requirement for quality. A staycation may sound like a good idea, but lack in quality can often result in a poor and incomplete experience for the guests. 
  • There is a need for an immersive experience. People no longer want to simply stay in a place, they want to truly live and enjoy it. 

Together, they combine to form great opportunities, which this incredible funding can help reinforce. 

Vista Rooms is at the forefront of creating memorable experiences for small and large groups alike. A crucial part of this endeavour is having a strong network of well-connected investors who carry this disruption further because they come with aligned interests. This round of fundraising validates our strategy and lays the groundwork for our further expansion.

Key initiatives for 2021 include the continued expansion of holiday destinations across the country. Furthermore, we aim to propel our diversification and maximize these resources to improve technology, strengthen the team and enhance brand awareness.
